FERTILITY CARE AT KHUSHI

Fertility Care Begins With Understanding What You Need

Some people come with a known fertility concern. Others have previous reports, questions about treatment or simply do not know where to begin. Our fertility care pathways are designed to help you understand the most appropriate place to start.

Evaluation first. Treatment only when clinically appropriate.

WHERE DO I START?

Choose the situation that feels closest to yours.

01

I am not sure where to begin

Start with a fertility evaluation to understand the overall picture before deciding what may be needed.

02

I want to understand treatment options

Explore IVF, IUI, ICSI and other fertility treatments, including when each may be considered.

03

I already have a fertility concern

Explore fertility conditions such as PCOS, low AMH, endometriosis, blocked tubes or ovulation concerns.

04

We have a male fertility concern

Learn about semen findings, male-factor fertility evaluation and pathways that may be relevant.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHOOSE A TREATMENT FIRST

The right pathway can become clearer after understanding your history, concerns and findings.

FIND YOUR STARTING POINT

Fertility Care Does Not Begin in the Same Place for Everyone

Some people need help understanding why pregnancy has not occurred. Others already know about a fertility condition, while some are exploring a specific treatment or planning fertility preservation. The right starting point depends on the question that needs to be answered.

THE SIMPLE RULE

Begin with the question you need answered not with a treatment you think you may need.

START WITH EVALUATION

When the Picture Is Not Clear, Evaluation Is the Place to Begin

A fertility evaluation brings together history, previous reports, female and male fertility factors and relevant investigations so that the next decision is based on the overall clinical picture.

You do not need to know which treatment you need before booking an evaluation.

WHAT EVALUATION HELPS CLARIFY

Three questions usually matter before choosing what happens next.

01

What may be contributing?

The first goal is to understand whether female factors, male factors, combined factors or other clinical findings may be relevant.

02

What information is actually needed?

Investigations should be selected according to the clinical question rather than using the same test list for every patient.

03

What should happen next?

The findings are interpreted together to decide whether guidance, further assessment or treatment discussion may be appropriate.

THE PURPOSE

Understand first. Decide second.

FERTILITY TREATMENTS

Treatment Options Should Make Sense in the Context of Your Evaluation

Fertility treatment is not one fixed pathway. Depending on the clinical findings, age, reproductive history, male and female fertility factors and previous treatment, different options may be discussed.

TREATMENT PRINCIPLE

The appropriate treatment depends on what the evaluation shows.

01

IUI

Intrauterine insemination may be discussed in selected situations depending on factors such as ovulation, tubal status, semen findings and the overall fertility picture.

02

IVF

IVF may be considered when the clinical situation suggests that fertilisation and embryo development in the laboratory could form part of an appropriate treatment pathway.

03

ICSI

ICSI is a laboratory fertilisation technique used within selected IVF cycles when specific male-factor, fertilisation or clinical considerations make it relevant.

04

FET

A frozen embryo transfer may form part of care when previously cryopreserved embryos are available and transfer is planned according to the individual clinical situation.

NOT ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL

The purpose is not to choose the most advanced treatment. It is to choose the most appropriate pathway.

FERTILITY CONDITIONS

A Fertility Concern Is Better Understood in Context

Some fertility concerns relate mainly to ovarian function or ovulation, others involve pelvic or structural factors, while some become clearer only after looking at implantation, pregnancy history and the wider fertility picture.

THE CLINICAL VIEW

The Name of a Condition Is Only One Part of the Fertility Picture

The same diagnosis can affect people differently. Age, symptoms, reproductive history, male fertility factors, previous treatment and other findings can influence what a condition means clinically.

Diagnosis helps identify the concern. Evaluation helps place it in context.

01

Ovarian & Ovulatory Factors

Conditions and findings involving ovulation, ovarian function or ovarian reserve may need to be interpreted alongside age, cycle history and the wider fertility assessment.

02

Pelvic & Structural Factors

Conditions involving the pelvis, uterus or fallopian tubes may influence fertility in different ways and are interpreted according to symptoms, imaging, reproductive history and clinical findings.

03

Implantation, Pregnancy & Unexplained Factors

When implantation, pregnancy loss or difficulty conceiving remains unexplained, the clinical approach depends on the history, previous investigations and which questions still need to be answered.

DIFFERENT FERTILITY NEEDS

Not Every Fertility Journey Begins With the Same Concern

Some couples are trying to understand a male fertility concern. Others are thinking ahead and want to understand whether preserving fertility may be relevant to their plans. These are different questions and deserve different pathways.

MALE FERTILITY

When There Is a Semen, Male-Factor or Reproductive Concern

Male fertility is part of the couple’s overall fertility picture. Evaluation may include reproductive and medical history, semen findings and additional assessment when clinically indicated.

01 Understand semen findings in context

02 Identify whether further male assessment is relevant

03 Discuss options according to the underlying factor

FERTILITY PRESERVATION

When You Are Thinking About Fertility for the Future

Fertility preservation may be explored for personal, reproductive or medical reasons. The discussion should consider age, current fertility context, future plans and which preservation option may be relevant.

01 Understand current fertility and future goals

02 Discuss egg, embryo or other relevant preservation pathways

03 Make an informed decision about timing and next steps

SPECIALIST & LABORATORY PATHWAYS

Some Fertility Questions Need a Deeper Level of Evaluation

Some fertility situations require more detailed clinical reasoning, specialist input or laboratory information before the next step becomes clear. These pathways should be considered according to the individual clinical context.

Advanced care should answer a specific clinical question — not simply add more tests or procedures.

SCIENCE IN THE FERTILITY PATHWAY

Understanding Where the Laboratory Fits Into Care

01

IVF Laboratory & Embryology

The IVF laboratory supports fertilisation, embryo culture, embryo assessment and cryopreservation where these form part of the treatment plan.

02

Embryology & Cryopreservation

Embryology decisions and freezing pathways are considered according to the treatment cycle, embryo availability and the individual clinical plan.

03

Specialist Fertility Evaluation

Selected situations may need additional specialist assessment when the history, previous treatment or clinical findings raise a specific unanswered question.

THE RULE

More advanced does not automatically mean more appropriate.
